WebGot stuck doing the bloodline quest, Castle Volkihar gates won't open. (Skyrim SE, dawngaurd) I have free'd Serana and took her home, but nothing ever happens outside the gates, no cutscene or anything like that, and behind them there is one guy telling me to get out of there. Im plaing on Xbox One. 12 7 comments Best Add a Comment WebNov 11, 2011 · If you visit Castle Volkihar before bringing Serana this glitch will happen. You can plate glitch in and if the other door is accessible you can likely complete this part of he quest. Note the portcullis will remain down if you join the vampires however and you will have to glitch in until a certain point opens another area in the castle.

If this is confusing then what I mean is, do not have the castle volkihar discovered until serena is following you.
